Trophies for Auburn's Youth Fishing Derby sit in the Parks and Recreation Department office Friday. The annual event will be held Saturday, rain or shine, said Joe Toner, recreation specialist. Fishing begins at 8 a.m. The entry fee is $5 per person. Thanks to a $1,000 donation from the Auburn Exchange Club, Pettengill Pond was stocked with 170 brook trout Wednesday for the derby for children ages 9 to 15. Another 170 trout will be added next week for the 3- to 8-year-old derby May 12.
